Hard to find 10 in any category, most film and TV this year ranged somewhere between total garbage and "yeah, it's alright...". These were the only ones I thought were genuinely good enough to be on any list:

TV

Five Days At Memorial
Slow Horses
Gaslit
The Offer

Honourable mentions:

Stranger Things was okay, House of the Dragon was surprisingly not terrible.

Dishonourable mention:

Star Trek Picard season 2 (aka. the continued and soul-destroying desecration of a once-great franchise).
Sacrilegious filth.

Film

The Banshees of Inisherin
Licorice Pizza
Fire of Love

Honourable mentions:

Prey, Beast and Top Gun 2 were all good fun.

I can only list things I saw last year, but may be from previous years. And as above the vast majority of stuff I've seen ranges from 'ok' down to 'dross'.

TV

Pam & Tommy
Reacher
Inventing Anna
Stranger Things
The Boys
The Umbrella Academy
The Sandman
Prehistoric Planet
Bad Sisters
The White Lotus S2
Mare of Easttown
Lord of the Rings

Film

Really nothing stood out...

Although my pick for worst film: 'The Shack' on Netflix which seemed to be some attempt at Christian indoctrination. Morally very dubious whilst also  boring as f***.

^ I forgot about Prehistoric Planet!

Such a shame it wasn't seen by a wider audience. I had hoped the BBC would be able to show it after some exclusivity period on AppleTV+, but so far nothing.

Also said by loads of people who make stuff for Sky and sit at home counting their money whilst nobody knows who they are or what they did.
