Same old way, keyword SEO. They just try and hide them in genuine looking posts so they don't get noticed and deleted.

I read somewhere the misspelling and bad grammar is deliberate. I can't remember the exact reasoning but it wasn't to avoid spam filters, something to do with those they were targeting.

It's very easy to get caught even if your paranoid like me. I came within a click about a year back when a TV licence text arrived just when I was doing some banking stuff and the DD was due.

I believe it's actually so people who fall for them are more likely to complete the process of giving their details/paying money/buying junk.

"If you are stupid enough to not notice all these warning signs, you are much more likely to complete the whole process than drop out midway through when things look more suspicious."

Some percentage of people that share the spamlist your email address is on probably do! They aren't targetting you specifically, you are just an email in a list. :/
