It's life Jim

...but not as we know it.

The Sky at Night team were privy to the announcement today and produced a very good program covering it.

Possible acid loving bacteria 50 kilometres above the surface of Venus.
If proven it confirms this sci fi loving plebs belief that life will turn out to be like a bloody rash and in every interplanetary nook and cranny.

The search for intelligent life on this planet continues.

Note: It also confirms that scientists are toe curlingly weird and have not learnt from those bloody awful early morning open university programs
