Not very Long Bailey.

A group of left wing, presumably Corbynistas, wanted to meet with Starmer over the sacking and got a firm no.

This has apparently upset Momentum, but hopefully Momentum have no power anymore.

Link to an excellent thread on why RLB's retweet was worthy of her dismissal (she initially refused to delete the post too), and why it was antisemitic (or at least giving prominence to another lazy antisemitic trope).

(And if you agree with this, you probably don't want to see the replies because it will probably just make you smash up your house)

I read the first few of her tweets, agreed with them, and then stopped before I got to the replies for my house's safety!

Doesn't matter how reasonable, measured and thoughtful your argument, along come the C****n nut jobs with their "but what about Israel?" or "f*** off Tory" responses which rather prove the point that far-left Labour have a serious problem with antisemitism. Hopefully they'll fade into irrelevance.

Glad to see this one go. Kudos to Starmer for starting the Labour repair job in fine style! The Tories will be upset as her bunch were seen as a boon to Conservative voting but for the sake of everyone's sanity she, along with Momentum, have to go.

The world is a crazy place right now, and she was one of the craziest. Crikey, I might be able to vote Labour again at some point! If you'd have told me that a week ago I wouldn't have believed you. Still lots of work left to do. Society as a whole is in need of a serious repair job...
