Roy Hudd RIP
Fantastic depth of knowledge about the old music hall comics and turns as well his own personal CV.
All around nice bloke as well. Drove him a few times back in the eighties as he lived close to the cab office and had an account with us.
Blind as a bat even back then which meant when you picked him up from Heathrow the 'Hello are you my driver' was delivered damn near nose to nose.

I am not young enough to know everything.
I was never a fan of his comedy, but he always seemed a jolly nice guy who gave a lot of pleasure to many people. RIP Roy!

Comedy Legend and will be sorely missed :( RIP
Always remember a wet drizzly miserable night in Scarborough on holiday decades ago, and Wife and I decided to go see Roy Hudd in the theatre there, and it was a fantastic show, really cheered up our holidays. Also on the bill was Roy Castle the trumpeting genius. Afterwards we got fish and chips wrapped in newspaper to end the night before we went back to our B&B. Yep great days, fond memories.
