And something I finally got around to hearing recently, Richard Herring's podcast with Nicholas (worth hearing!):

That's a real shame. I still listen to just a minute from time to time. What will they do without him!

He did seem like he didn't quite know what was going on in his RHLSTP (rhlstp) interview, but still amazing for a guy in his 90s.

A mainstay of TV before even I was a smile on me Dad's lips.
Straight man to Arthur Haynes
Behind the Labour exchange desk for a short while to Charlie Drake's The Worker and over 50 years fronting Just a Minute.

I think we can say, at least professionally, he led a full and productive life.
From the interview I just heard with his daughter just as fulfilling a personal life as well.

A lot more than a minute with loads of repetition all welcome.

In one bizarre episode of his life, this posh boy son of a doctor from the home counties worked as a ship builder in Glasgow during the the war.
