Amazing that the way the pitch is re-laid you never see any tackles peel up a corner.
Just thinking of how long a re-turfed lawn take to settle down.

Reminds me of this one from a couple of years ago...

But also reminds me of athought I had the other day about the Olympic stadium in London. I was lucky enough to be in the stadium during the paralympics, and inbetween events, my mildly autisic mind became fascinated with the logistics of the building I was in, in that not only did it have to be built to house the sporting events, and also be purpose built for adaptation after the events had finished, but also that they had to be stages for the as-yet-unbeaten opening & closing ceremonies. That's impressive engineering, designed to not be noticed.
