By avoiding being interviewed? And being the one certain sections of the media want as PM?

Maybe not.
The EU may not grant an extension for a general election as it wouldn't guarantee any result on a deal.
They may grant one for a second referendum as that would.
Or the govt has to revoke article 50 to hold an election with the promise of a fresh run at it afterwards.

I don't want one, but I'm pretty sure they will.
They don't want us to leave, else we wouldn't have had two extensions already...

They are absolutely not trying to stop us leaving, but not with a chaotic no deal. They don't want a failing economy on their doorstep dragging them down.
They want us to leave with a deal (although not at any cost) and they want to make sure that they are not seen as the ones who forced us into it so we can continue to play the blame game, hence the extension.

If you say so...they wrote the WA and they've already said it's not up for renegotiation, and it'll never get through Parliament as NO ONE wants it...

Or. if that is still a leave the EU result, then grant a third, a fourth till you get what you want?
End of democracy, this path is.

Again, a result based on established falsehoods is the opposite of democracy.
Theere should have been a wider threshold for a definitive result, say 55-60% minimum. As it stands, all recent polls still point towards remain, but if there is a second (and with Boris in the chair, that's a real possibility) then the question asked has to be better than just 'in/out', because it's now amazingly apparently that a large percentage of the voters really didn't understand the implications of the question
