Daft question (Ladders)

Snaps (Elite) posted this on Saturday, 4th May 2019, 13:22

This should be really simple but I seem to be too simple to work it out.

I need to get a triple extension ladder to work on the gutters of my 1930s style semi/detached and I can't find a recommendation for length relating to working height.
It's between a 5 or 7 metre one.
Does anyone have one or use one that can give me a simple one or the other.

dunno about lengths, but a 14 rung double ladder has suited our late 19th Century Victorian terrace house just fine.

Just make sure someone trustworthy holds the bottom of that ladder, when you are up there.

Seen too many ladder collapses that way, with no-one holding or worse, holder walking away.

even better you do the holding and get some other muppet at the top of the ladder :)

I've seen the Muppets and it's usually the poor SOB Muppet at the bottom of the ladder providing a soft landing for 'La la la aren't I clever' Muppet falling from the top.
