Vehicle speed limiters to be introduced by EU and adopted by UK

Much like lane assist and anti-collision tech, this will help reduce accidents.

It can be overridden for overtakes or even temporarily disabled so I don't have a problem with it. I think it's a good idea and will inevitably be adopted worldwide (eventually).

I'm sure the same sort of people who refuse to wear seatbelts will be frothing their meaty brine at this.

I'm ok with this, because I can't afford a new car, so this won't affect me for at least 10 years. ;)

Also... I really want a self driving car anyway!

Irony is that the EU introducing it are relying on GPS technology and Sat Nav for it to work, and as part of Brexit, the UK is no longer part of the EUs GPS system.

Well I never liked start stop tech, which i do not have.

I never liked tire pressure monitoring, which I do not have.

I never liked auto-locking after 5 MPH, which I do not have.

I never liked auto lights and auto wipers, which i do not have.

I never liked heated seats, which I do not have.

So this will be another tech that I will not have eitherĀ

You wouldn't like my car then, I have all of the features you listed apart from heated seats.
It also has a few more including warning of exceeding the speed limit, lane departure warning, & a help button that puts you through to a switchboard help centre in case of an accident or break down.
But the one that you probably would like the least is a companion mobile app that logs all journeys using the built in GPS. I'm sure Tony Soprano would be horrified.

EDIT
I forgot, you can have auto parking as an optional extra.

Bandi's transport does have the advantage that it's good for the roses.
