Just picked this up from Edward Snowden's twitter.

Worth a click and hassle of your MEP.
Oh yeh we've got one of those haven't we, so we do get to vote about Europe.

Unfortunately the MEP it flags up for me is UKIP so probably thinks the internet is something to do with fishing.

We are under a lot censurship now, a lot of it automated.

For example...on Facebook if you put an Ebay link to say a car part, if the link is too long and most are, it is automatically deleted as spam and you get a warning.

My only way around it now, is to take a picture of the Ebay item and put that on the facebook page.

Also on youtube chat, under their rules there is to be no mention of politics or religion, and if you mention 'the wall' on a USA chat site, it is deleted, as found out mentioning the great wall of china   

Soon we shall be the same as red chinas internet where we cannot mention 'tiananmen square tank man'

Well, to be fair there is a lot of phishing about. :)

Whilst not a fan of Ukip in any way, I tend to shy away from stereotyping them on the whole as neanderthals...

Just on personal experience I have yet to hear one that approaches average intelligence.
