Crazy weather

My birthday is in February. No, this isn't a heads up for those that missed it. My point is it is often snowing for my birthday. What is it with this crazy weather and how are you making use of it?

happy birthday

Park yesterday and today with girls, I've still got hat and gloves and winter coat on, both days after 5 mins they're out of coats, just t-shirts! Can see some shoots sprouting as well.

I have seen people walking around in shorts and T shirts the last few days, but assume they are from Newcastle LOL
The most hardy bunch in the UK, where a 70 MPH wind is just a sea breeze to them

I on the other hand am still wearing 15 tog arctic jacket, themal gloves and heavy long john underware to protect my (coughs) and Knees.

There could be a foot of snow and minus 10 deg. and you will guarantee there will be at least a couple of blokes in Tesco wearing shorts & T shirt. What are they trying to prove?

I remember hearing on the radio how the climate in 50 yrs in SE England will be similar to southern Spain. I don't know if that's an exaggeration or a bit of a punt but that's quite a change.

Thanks for the birthday wishes.

I was out in the garden today and saw a Painted Lady butterfly on the daffodils. Friendly things, it came and landed on my arm as I was putting a few lupins in. Yes, yes, I know.

Bumble bees out too. Hope they're not out too early. Last year l was scooping up bumble bees crawling over the lawn that had got wet and cold and letting them warm up on the back of hand before they were warm enough to motor up and fly away.

Sanded and painted the garage door frame which is one job out of the way.

Happy Birthday Mike! For whenever it is/was ;)

Yesterday and today I walked the dog without a coat for the first time since winter began. It was so nice.
