57 seems so young nowadays, all due to the dreaded big C
Much more radio and live than TV.
Became a main stay on the News Quiz somewhat taking over Alan Coren's smiling curmudgeon role. Very lefty which could occasionally be a bit annoying but you were even laughing whilst being annoyed.
I'm left wondering what I've done in the ten years more than him that I've already had. Considerably less than what he would have done with it I shouldn't wonder.
A sadder world without him in it.
