Suddenly I realise we, the public, actually pay these people to stab each other in the back, I am suddenly so depressed about the world. :(

Maybe election ballets should include how much money the person on the ballet will be paid if enough people vote for them.

I now have a mental image I can't shift of Corbyn in tights doing a grand jete.

It's always been a power play though, Rob.

You can look at both current major political parties, or even include the minor ones, and there is some much of an undercurrent where there are clearly power struggles going on.

Depending on your view of any given situation will depend on how you either support or not support each one.

What was surprising for me today, and it was a surprise, was the whole thing about Alex Salmond.  But on the other hand, I don't think it was a total surprise.

Not that I think he did it (although he may have) or had visions of him doing it, but whilst some of these mainstream backlashes have ultimately affected more people to the left than the right.

Not totally sure where I'm going with this as it's half four in the morning and suffering from a bout of insomnia so my eyes are heavy and I'm tired but not enough to be sensibly sleeping like everyone else...

Insomnia: snap.

Was very surprised when Salmond had a talk show on Russia Today of all places.

A very subtle way (Australian style) of telling Politicians to get the finger out :D
