Page 1 of Default screen now gone on youtube (help needed)
Since this last youtube update a few weeks ago, I can no longer get the small screen as default, which lets you see other youtube videos on the RHS, or lets you see youtube chat on the RHS.
How do I get settings back to this, as all I can get is intermediate size screen or full screen mode.
This means I cannot see youtube chat or other youtube videos without having to scroll down. It is a total pain trying to figure out how to get back to small screen setting (as picture above).

sounds like you've clicked in the little rectangle
move your mouse down so that the time bar is visible, then in bottom right hand corner there' settings, rectangle, full screen
I have been clicking the little rectangle that normally puts you back to the small screen (the little rectangle lets you cycles small or intermediate size), as I always do, but it does seem to let me do it now.
So I can only get intermediate size and full screen size , but not small size (as picture above).
Is yours working normally and get small screen?, or is intermediate the default setting now? or do I have some sort of jamb up here?
Reading youtube help, others are getting same problem since last update, as the little rectangle icon will not let you cycle back to small screen mode.

try a different browser? are you lo gged in to youtube? try logging out?
ctrl shift del to delete all your temp files etc then close browser and try again.
mine's working fine i think
I am on chrome, but browser is not the trouble.
It seems the youtube pages can now get stuck on intermediate and full screen mode, and the small rectangular button does not work, to get you back to small screen mode. Must be this software upgrade that youtube has done recently.
But...I tried it right away this morning and my video came up small screen mode, why? who knows, so I bookmarked it, and can use that to get back to small screen mode, if it gets stuck on intermediate mode.
I just hate software updates to a webpage, they just ruin it, as i liked it as it was. Plus if it gets stuck on intermediate mode, I cannot find youtube setting to sort it out, other than go to that bookmark, and start again.
Anyone else getting this? Any other solutions?
