No Bandi, you do have it around the wrong way: Yanny is the higher frequency, Laurel is the low. See the BBC link from earlier.
The higher frequency is not necessarily in such a high range where only younger ears can here it.

Bandi, you're saying you're getting old and losing high frequency in your hearing (correct) but that you can hear yanny - which is in the higher frequency range.
