Not wishing to make light of it but I hope he'd approve.
Perfect tweet from Gary Delaney.

Thought he'd last forever. :-(

He damn near did.
It's an example of the world we now live in that a small part of me is thinking (Please, no Saville).
I hate myself for thinking it but I suspect I'm not alone.

Well I have been waiting for this one liner for years, for this to be true....
Ken Dodd died!......Diddy......No Doddy :D
One of our hero's of comedy that would not let an audience leave till the early hours, got caught out with that at Blackpool decades ago.
A man that could make you weep with laughter till your stomach hurt. And that is not an easy task.
Interesting to read that on Friday, he had married Anne Jones, his partner of 40 years, at their house, the same one he grew up in, in the Liverpool suburb of Knotty Ash. Making sure she was in for his fortune (the remainder that the VAT man did not get a hold off).
RIP will be a joke, as he will have them all laughing in heaven with 15 oncores, and the angels wishing he was back on Earth, to get a break.
Well his Funeral was televised yesterday, people like Tarbuck paid tribute (I did not know he was still alive), so that was shock for me
Atr the end of the funeral, Doddy's large coffin (he was a big lad) was carried out to the strains on the organ of his song 'Happiness', cheered on with claps and tickle-ing sticks in the air.
Just to put the cream on top as his big finish, the funeral ran over by twenty minutes
I know he's probably going to be buried but I have this image of the coffin going through those curtains at the Crematorium and keep re-appearing for endless curtain calls.
