the car driver can't really say "the tram came from nowhere, pulled out in front without indicating" can they ;)

Crazy having tram routes on main roads full of cars and pedestrians.

Always remember seeing a guy in the 80's flying through the air after being hit by a Blackpool tram, and he was go drunk he just got up and wandered off with his mates, as though it was nothing.

For all I know, he might have died later on with internal bleeding, but no-one seemed to be bothered about it, as health and safety did not exist back thenĀ

Ah, but at some point there will be crossovers of tram rails and roads, just like the system in Blackpool.

And if you look at the new Edinburgh tram service, these run down the middle of the road in the City center. Mind you they have so many buses there, that as a pedestrian it is difficult to get across the road DOH!.

When we were there on holiday last year at Leith, the landlady in the B&B told us that there was a bus every ten minutes into Edinburgh city center. (In comparison....Our local bus at home into the nearest town is one every two hours)

And they wonder how cities are polluted.
