Best known as Jason King & later in life a s the gold-masked Klytus in Flash Gordon and Timanov in Doctor Who.

it's interesting reading about his real life not being similar to his tv persona, getting mobbed at airports by women etc! Sad that ppl weren't able to/still cannot publicly be themselves.

RIP.....I just loved Department S and the characters in it. TV theme tunes back in that era were just amazing, so had to look up the tune again.
