Page 1 of Uber

Maybe a techie question but I still think it belongs in General.

I recently installed the Uber app in Trumpland.
Without asking me what my payment choice was it automatically charged my Android pay app.

Given that they were hacked to the tune of 57 million users details and failed to admit it till pushed that makes me more than a little nervous.
The apps coming off my phone but one interesting point the charge for the two journeys was in pounds with no charge for any conversion from dollars.

I was aware of that I was just alluding to the fact that they still seem to be free and easy about accessing my card without specific permission.
