Mech games are a thing, if you are into video gaming at all, well someone is making them for real...

Designing the look first may have been a misstep. They were supposed to be ready for the end of this year, but this is beginning to have the hallmarks of someone burning money to make a big-ass toy

This robot is only unstable because it is not gyroscopic gimboled yet, like the other military 'animal type' robots shown in the video. Even Segways have them to balance up.

Man is making a great job of creating weapon 'locked and loaded' robots that can kill today, so just wait till robots are given the option to kill without being in the human loop, or when robots are creating robots, that's when Terminator happens, and the future is hitting us fast.

Yes, Si-fi can become reality very easily. I just wish these 'designers' would take a note of Si-fi robot films and their disasterous outcomes.

Relax Bandi. Comprehensive AI is still at the verbal and decisive infancy stage. And the closest we have to decisive/automotive AI at the moment is a robot that takes 45 minutes to fold a towel. Getting it past that stage to something that can autonomously pilot a bipedal monstrosity and decide wether or not to crush any puny human it comes across is at least a decade away.
