I'm a Nana to three boys ages 13 11 and 21/2 . But I know to some extent I am not old fashion but wonder why some mixes lovely music with shameless scenes that are a bit much for the young to be exposed to. If you go to the music forum you will see it what I mean and come back and tell me your opinion.

Kids these days! When I was a young un, I'd listen to wholesome fare like French Kiss, by L'il Louis, Relax by Frankie, NWA and F*** da Police, oh, and I made sure I had Sabrina's Boys, Boys, Boys video queued up on my VCR... ;)

Every generation has its scandalous when it comes to pop culture. As long as your family makes you proud, then music preferences are a trivial thing.

Don't remember any lyrics, but a rather delightful specialist film soundtrack just slightly higher in the mix - anyway, we digress as Ella's original point was about shameless visuals rather than the content of the music...

If you go to What your listening to now??? #16 that Spanish music despacito music n lyrics are pretty nice but the scenario of the expressive dancing was a bit much , don't get me wrong I like to dance but not for the young one to see in fact I found it to be a little funny and exaggerating in some scenes.

As said above, it',s a topic that has gone on for years, Rhianna, Madonna, Elvis all corrupting our kids with their dancing.

I think there was talk that some music videos should only be shown after 21:00 but that won't affect YouTube etc.

AFAIK my girls haven't been watching music videos, but when one of them dances she shakes her bum a lot, so I guess it's natural.

But he Gabriel only 21/2 yrs old two not yet three and his brothers were trying to distract him and that little one said go starring into that cell phone You would think what a little man I hope he will grow out of it. My husband said he likes pretty women but I also think it's the music because he is picking up some of the words.
