Page 1 of Good Summer so far

Well so far not so bad but did concluded followed up with surgeon good news finally back to normal excercise and activities just no heavy lifting😉 ..,,second surgeon said while he had camera in me he saw I need future surgery it's called Paraesophageal hernia and it's not immediately but in few months it's serious.😟Oh well damn ,enough on me .Tell me how you ladies gents doing?

Weather good here in London area, better than elsewhere in the UK temperature wise, I am in good health, but expect my back to go, when I tackle manual labour as a brickie at my old beach house in Sydney. 

Wife and I are flying out next week to Oz for three weeks, and me and my eldest son who lives next door with his family, are going to start work on it. Planning permit is through and the garage will become part of a larger house extension that expands out back, a car port roof to be installed at front, and a decking area to be built for the barbie at the back.

Makes me sore just thinking abut all that work to do, but being in the building industry for over 40 years, I have no excuse, but to do it myself.

Anyone want a 30 year old 'up and over' garage door?

Oh your house reminds me of my late uncle's house he lived in Orlando, Florida. No winters in Oz you lucky , big job a do it yourself task.Bet your wife is happy to see this done finally.Our next task in our home is backyard patio and garage. And hopefully we be done and get our passports ready to travel we figure in a year or so.Can you tell me how you put your home photo in here sadly I forgot 😕.

I fly out in the next few days, it is actually the Winter now in Australia, so it will be cooler to work in. Our house is five minutes walk to the beach, as we are a few streets back from the water front. House prices rise the closer you are to a water front view, typical the world over, LOL. Anyway will be spending time between work and play.

I joined www imjur com, then you just slide your photo onto the upload rectangle and the photo is transferred to imgur. Or you can copy your photo , and then paste into imjur (right click mouse).

You then click on photo in imjur and it gives you lots of links, click on the bottom one which says 'linked BBcode' and that is the link to copy and then paste into this website.

To paste, right click mouse when on this website, and hit paste, and the link is then pasted.

Keep photos reasonable sized, and use .jpg, jpeg type, to keep storage size small.

Well, that the house extension and decking finished out the back, it was hard work but worth it. At least the temperatures were down made outside working easier for Australian standards, being Winter.

Only letdown was the car port people, who could not supply the kit size I wanted, so it is now on back order, for my son and I to install the next time i am here.

So fly back to UK this Friday, and back to work the following Monday. No rest for the wicked, he he.

Well my summer is somewhat unpredictably in the sense just when you think you planned everything Not!!something comes up and the plan is changed or cancel ☹️.But I will chalk it and move on.This surgery has also set me back a bit ,made me a bit depressed and I hate that.So today I am going out on me own no one just me need space.Bye

Well I honestly can't complain about yesterday ,I went with daughter and me grandboys to a beach ,a quiet almost appeared private beach in a near by town no heavy traffic free parking and kids are free and us elderly free also my daughter only had to paid $5.00 cannot top that😀.I haven't been to a beach in years, it was lovely enjoyed a lot. There were boats on dock and some were sailing. Great photos!
