While I had a bit of time I thought I would give you a bit of an update.
Yes, I went all in and did sugar-free (or still am) - I won't lie, it's been tough, sometimes I just want cake and biscuits.
Even milk. Or yogurt.
After a week or so I went a bit more extreme and followed the 4HB plan which i an extension to this - and cut fruit too. I love fruit.
However, after being SF for 2 weeks and 2 days I have lost 15lbs.
Not bad. I aim to drop another 10lbs in next 10 days (so almost two stone) in time for my holiday. Wish me luck!

Good luck! But be careful, that's a drastic weight loss. They do say the slower it comes off the less likely you are to put it back on.

Another factor if you are really overweight, is beer belly flab, arm wings dings and other areas as well, where if you take the weight off too quick you are left with folds of skin.

You have to allow for the elasticity of the skin to contract slowly or you can end up having to go for plastic surgery to take of excess folds.

I'm not massive, just chubby.
I think it's a case of lifestyle onwards if you want to keep it off.
I think he best part is that it clears the fat from around your internal organs.
Always carefully managed and scientific with me :)

Good luck with it all but there's much more to being healthy than your weight and weight loss.
Are there any studies into more long term effect of no sugar intake (Maybe on the pancreas etc.)?
I'm sure there more studies and evidence into the likes of 5:2 or even 6:1 benefits?
