Brexit

It seems we should have a new thread for this as it's going to rumble on for years.
So for anyone who's feeling either soft or hard on the subject this seems like an ideal starting point.

Can't find the original on LBC but the James Obrien rant in this Tweet seems to be on the money

We're weaker than we've ever been, and we have no cards to play. We're going to be eaten alive.

Another way of looking at it...

37.4% of the population voted to leave
34.6% of the population wanted to stay
28% didn't seem to care enough either way

Thanks 28%... thanks a lot!

No, we will be eating Australian beef and butter again, when the trade agreements start happening

Maybe a bit of kangaroo meat as well, to give you bounce .

PS........Only thing you don't want is Fosters lager as that is only sold to unsuspecting foreigners,  as its total p***.

Real ale is one of the reasons I love this country, as nothing beats a good English Ale.

One of the things I miss when holidaying back in Oz, though there are a few 'English themed' pubs now in major Australian cities, so i can get a few English ales if I want to, also 'toad in the hole' and even 'Chicken in the basket', although I did not have the heart to tell the owner that it had went out of fashion in UK back in the 80's due to heath regulations over reuse of the basket.
