You may want to listen to the Prof on this:

Whether you believe him or not, the proof of the pudding is only three weeks away.  If you don't believe that, then the Greens and Lib Dems should soar in the EU elections and the polls putting the newly formed Brexit Party at 30% of the vote share will be completely wrong.

I'm not so sure that is what will happen...

I think a lot of remainers have gone to LibDem and Green, and leavers have gone to independents.

That is entirely possible, but you also have to remember that the Lib Dems have a good reputation for running local authorities, even if they are somewhat irrelevant at national level.

There were also increases in spoiled ballots, which I'd like to see more details on, but some of the numbers I found on social media suggest a dramatic increase against the norm:

As I said above, May 24th will be a better indication of the nation's overall feelings on Brexit.

If you know anyone who isn't registered to vote in the EU election they have until the 7th.
Right now it's looking like Farage and his poisonous crew are likely to win.

I agree that everyone should register and exercise their democratic right to vote.

Do not assume though that all those not registered would actually vote the same way as you.

Not assuming that at all but the EU elections are usually a low turnout.
If we're going to embarrass ourselves by sending a Farage led army there let's at least try and get enough first time voters out to make sure it's the next generation that wants to two finger Europe.

Totally stand by what I said, which was basically that ConLab interpreted their loss of votes as "people want to get on with brexit" whilst diligently ignoring all the extra votes for remain parties.

For all the b****t party possibly getting boosted support in euros, you might note that remain are significantly ahead in polls (and have been for months) in a remain v. leave scenario.

Current polling shows the Brexit Party ahead by 13 points, with Labour second for the EU elections.

New poll out tonight for the next General Election shows this:

That would mean Labour have 137 seats than the Conservatives and form a minority government but the Brexit Party would get 49 seats...

Sadly, a lot of voters will vote for the Brexit party purely because of Farage and it's got the word 'brexit' in the name. But ask them to name any of the party's policies and I doubt they'll be able to name anything outside the usual 'out means out' rhetoric.

But it was intersting to see Farage on the Andrew Marr show, tossing his toys out of the pram once the questions got a little more investigative, and going back to the 'biased BBC' standby.

For the European elections, what else does he need to send his message to Westminster?  Anyone who thinks the EU elections are about ANYTHING other than Brexit needs to give their head a shake.

For a General Election, that is completely different...
