Quite shocked at the divorce settlement for us to pay the EU around 50 Billion Euros to be allowed to leave.

Think they should pay us that, just to go, and leave them in peace

You think that's a lot. Wait till you see how much they charge once Mother Theresa realises the country is well and truly buggered, changes her mind, and asks to stay in the EU.

Looks like DUP have already put the kibosh on this deal. Thank goodness Theresa can use hard brexit magic to solve the problem of an invisible, friction-less border that can still check on movement of people and goods.

Don't worry, we'll get some of it back in the form of Nigel Fararse's EU pension. He won't refuse it because, well, that would require principles.

Really?  C'mon Rob, I expected better from you on that.  Why would anyone give up a pension that they qualified for?

Still, I'd be happy saving some money from the Kinnocks...

Morals? Honour? To not be a hypocrite? Spent years going on about how the EU is a gravy train, then joins it himself and continues slurping the gravy?

To me this is like Donald Trump not declaring his taxes, saying he hardly pays any, and that's why he should be president because if anyone knows how to close the tax loop holes for the rich it's someone who has exploited them for years.

And then passing tax legislation for the rich.

They present themselves as being not politicians, and then do very politiciany things.

Even Jimmy Saville hung on to his pension.

So if the UK can’t work out the Irish border situation, the UK stays in the Customs Union and the Single Market by default. How do you spell total capitulation?

We’ll wind up leaving the EU without getting the benefits of leaving, and we’ll still have to pay, and still be shackled by regulations.
