The same Carole Cadwalladr whose paper has had to put endless corrections on her published investigative work?

Yet still they employ her.

Not being a reader of those newspapers I couldn't argue.

She does have an annoying habit of going into way to much detail in successive Tweets, not what the platform was designed for, but she still manages to dig deep enough to upset the probably guilty and prod those who should be doing something about it.

Aye, they do.  Which surprises me considering the types of corrections they've made, although I've only seen accounts of those corrections on Guido and not bothered to check through on them.

That said, I've not seen anyone complain that what he has reported re. the corrections is wrong.

That well known, even handed commentator on the political scene.
(That was right as in right wing)

Why should that matter, especially as he very often links to the source material.

And for someone you decry as right wing, he's generally just as hard on Conservatives...

Afternoon all

A $240-Billion-a-Day Market Is Leaving London Ahead of Brexit

Quote:
The decision... is the first example of a major financial market leaving the U.K. While every sizable trading venue has set up a regulated entity in the EU because of Brexit, BrokerTec -- as the business is known -- is the first to move an existing market from London to a continental European city: Amsterdam.

Sod them!

We've got the £980m fishing industry which employs 12,000 people, that's worth way more!

(Yes this is what some people around here care about)

Have to agree with Rob, most people in this country do not give a flying toss about the fat cats London financial market, as they are living week to week, hand to mouth on their poor wages or miserable pensions, and gave up saving years ago due to having no free cash and the crazy low interest rates of the banks, making it no incentive to save.
