Britain invented dinosaurs

We gave the world the computer, the steam engine, the world wide web, football (how did America invent their own game and call it football, when their game mostly uses hands?), golf, television, the telephone and Some-Country-Or-Other's Got Talent (sorry about that one everyone)...

...and loads of other things. And now we may have invented Dinosaurs too!

One of the implications is that dinosaurs first emerged 15 million years earlier than previously believed.

And the fossil evidence suggests that this origin may have occurred further north than current thinking suggests - possibly in an area that is now the UK, according to the new study's lead author, Matthew Baron of Cambridge University.

We rock at genetic mutations!
