British scientists could soon fly into space to conduct cutting edge medical experiments in zero gravity, thanks to new laws, which are slated to make way for a new era of scientific research. According to the UK Space Agency, the new regulations as well as funding will potentially see Britain constructing its very first spaceport by 2020.
I know we tested rockets on the Isle of Wight, but they were never intended to be launched here, instead flown to Australia.
Because, well you know... we have too much weather.

Have you seen the UK space agency headquarters, which consists of a couple of basement rooms in Whitehall, two desks, a filing cabinet and a standard issue civil service grey waste paper basket.
Well, that's how I have always visualised it :D
