I had to help a Messerschmitt owner once to get his 'car' out of a dead end street (with two other pushers), as it had no reverse gear 
Me and a couple of my squaddie mates used to pick one of these up, literally, and hide it in the bushes that surrrounded the TTA in Bordon .
