Not sure Trump believes in many of the things espoused by this shooter...

Police said that they are "reasonably confident" that an anti-Hispanic, anti-immigrant post published 27 minutes prior to the shooting on the website 8chan's /pol/ board titled The Inconvenient Truth, is linked to the suspect. 8chan moderators quickly removed the original post, though users continued sharing links to the manifesto.
It expresses support for and inspiration by the Christchurch mosque shootings, along with worry about a "Hispanic invasion", military imperialism, large corporations, and environmental degradation.

Cherry-picking the bits that fit your established centre-right narrative is pretty desperate & ultimately redundant when the original text is still out there.

Not really, maybe if you read it yourself.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columnists/has-anyone-actually-read-the-el-paso-manifesto

"Crusius worried about many things, if the manifesto is any indication. He certainly worried about immigration, but also about automation. About job losses. About a universal basic income. Oil drilling. Urban sprawl. Watersheds. Plastic waste. Paper waste. A blue Texas. College debt. Recycling. Healthcare. Sustainability. And more. Large portions of the manifesto simply could not be more un-Trumpian."

"And then, the environment. Americans enjoy an "incredible" quality of life, Crusius wrote, but "our lifestyle is destroying the environment of our country." Corporations, he said, are destroying the environment by "shamelessly over-harvesting resources.""

Not really, maybe if you read it yourself.  I can accept that some things could easily be levelled at Trump but there is plenty that that only an idiot would believe he is the inspiration for...

Or.... the entire 'manifesto' is a steaming smokescreen deliberately intended to send every facet of the media into raptures of delight, one way or the other, blaming each other for the wherefore and whys, when the guy was just a sociopath who had laughably easy access to high-capacity firearms and just wanted to kill a bunch of people & become a martyr to his own cause.

While that's certainly true of the El Paso shooter, who up until that point hadn't really exhibited that much extremist tendencies, the same can't be said for those with a history of white supremacists views, and whose manifesto more or less quoted Trump's Twitter feed verbatim.

Then, if course, there's this

That seems like a rather specific subset.

I have no idea if that is true or not, but I'm certainly not going to take AOC's word on it seeing as she tried to make a massive thing out of detained illegal immigrants washing with and drinking toilet water, when the truth of the matter was a standard prison design where the toilet is designed with a sink above it that feeds into the toilet.

https://www.indy100.com/article/border-control-agents-drink-toilet-sink-debunk-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-aoc-video-8998656

This is mainly why I doubt much of the s***e thrown in either direction...

He goes on to pour water from the toilet sink into a cup and taking a drink before declaring: “There is nothing wrong with this water. We’re not forcing aliens to drink out of the toilet."

The video was uploaded on social media, including Twitter by CBP Arizona, and Trump supporters in particular are praising it for “debunking” AOC.

However, it’s not doing that. In a tweet about a detention facility centre, AOC tweeted an image of a toilet. She said the sink – which is what Villareal drank out of – “was not functioning," adding:

Ayanna Pressley smartly tried to open the faucet, and nothing came out. So the women were told they could drink out of the bowl.

AOC is probably one of the smartest women in US politics right now, I'm pretty sure she's smart enough to know the difference between drinking from a sink built into a toilet cistern & drinking out of a f***ing toilet. I'd trust her word a thousand times over than the border patrol agents who are happily taking children from their parents like subservient drones, possibly never to be reunited, because of Trump's bullshit racist narrative, and then joyfully gloating about it in their own special Facebook group.
