Well I don’t think her jokes were funny at all. Tell me is she making a living as a comedian?
That would explain why she got that git😛

"Brutal :)"
Finally got around to watching this, so wonderfully brutal! Even more uncomfortable than watching Ricky Gervais present award ceremonies and slag off actors.

It wouldn't surprise me anymore if this approach actually worked, sometimes there's just too much diplomacy where a bit of bluntness might just do the trick...
Let's see where this goes.

Can we now change the title of the thread to 'The Trump Hitler-esque Authoritarian Dictatorship'?
Cheers

I guess that depends on how you view what is currently happening.
On the separation of child and family, which I guess is the trigger here, my understanding (and I could be wrong) is that this is just a continuation of already existing policy that hasn't been amended under previous Presidents.
It would appear that Congress are the ones to blame here and I suspect that Trump is just calling their bluff here to try to trigger them into action. It's a blunt and unforgiving move, but all the same...
I actually like the withdrawal of the US from the UN Human Rights council as I think that the UN as a whole is badly in need of reform. Again, this is a blunt and unforgiving move that the likes of Obama could never have gotten away with.
Trump on the other hand, despised by many of his citizens, has probably calculated that he can use that unpopularity to his advantage.
Will either move cause change? Who knows...

RE: [VIDEO] The Trump Presidency
Ascribing positive intent behind Trump’s actions in that way is a speculative leap that I can’t make, Si.
These things happen under his watch. As someone once said, “the buck stops here”. Leaving the UN human rights body just when the US is in the news for an abhorrent abuse of human rights is a clear message.

The UN Human Rights body is far from perfect, but leaving it whilst screaming about how unfairly it treats Israel just underlines how unfit the US is to be in that body in the first place.
