Very interesting article based on the new book about Trump's White House, Fire & Fury by Michael Wolff. .
It's a long read but worth a look.

"On Wednesday, in response to Trump’s tweet about the size and potency of his nuclear button, 100 mental-health professionals signed their names to a statement reading, “We believe that he is now further unraveling in ways that contribute to his belligerent nuclear threats … We urge that those around him, and our elected representatives in general, take urgent steps to restrain his behavior and head off the potential nuclear catastrophe that endangers not only Korea and the United States but all of humankind.”

Nah, that'd be Michelle

But in all honesty, getting rid of Trump isn't the issue, because then they'd get stuck with Mike 'Funerals for miscarriages' Pence.

The Republican party needs to be humiliated out of office. Their wanton cronyism and corruption needs to be laid bare, and those that voted for them need to see with their own eyes the truth of what they've brought upon themselves, even if they do believe they're currently living in utopia

I'm hoping they'll lose the house or the senate, that's the best hope for America right now.

Yep, no bias here at all.

Do these people REALLY think that there are no medical checks and balances for the man in charge, regardless of who he is?

This is just getting stupid...

We can but hope.  The problem, as I see it (and I admit I could be wrong), this blanket opposition and open vitriolic behaviour towards Trump will actually encourage his base.  It wouldn't surprise me if he won a second term purely based on opposition to his first.

I think his hardcore base will vote for him no matter what, so they're a lost cause anyway.

But the constant bad press and the constant impression that he's an unstable nut-job (which he only makes worse by his childish reactions to criticism) is definitely affecting the middle-ground voters who might think twice. And his recent "tax-cut-for-the-rich" is unpopular even with some of his most blinkered supporters. Look at some of the recent elections his backed candidates have lost. Guess we'll really know at the mid term elections - although circumstances change fast these days and you never know if he'll turn it around by then.
