It's nice smoke and mirrors tactics? Part of me think, if I was a federal worker great. Especially as someone who worked for the NHS in IT, but then got typed into a private sector company, which made me redundant after I finished training the oversead Indians how to do some of my work, for a fraction of my salary.

As a tax payer, I want to know why were paying so much in taxes :(

Surprised no one has mentioned Biden's VP pick, although I guess it might be due to the fact it plays right into Trump's hand...

I think it's a good pick, Trump's base will hate it, but then no party's base chooses the winner of the election. She doesn't carry the baggage that Hilary carried, and also don't forget Hilary did win the popular vote last time when the polls were a lot closer than now.

I don't think the running mate (unless it was Hilary) will affect anything. People usually have a list of priorities and right now it's Covid, jobs and the economy.

Another significant difference to this election is Facebook and Twitter actively removing fake news stories.

The Beeb's Americast has covered the VP announcement and played the Trump campaign's first go at slagging off Harris and her appointment.

They've had ages to prepare for any and all possibilities and if that's the best they've got it ain't much.

"But the biggest thing the Harris pick says is this: They think they’re going to win."

I would agree that they think they're going to win, not convinced that means they will though...
