Page 1 of Any Plans For 2017

I am going to work on my home and my health . In my home what to re-organize what stays and what to donate or maybe sell at a flea market booth, new to us but a few of my friends have done it and made a few dollars. Health well remember that dental issue I had about dental insurence and taking care of that re-treatment of root canal, I learn the hard way that some dentist say they accept your insurance but rather prefer to charge you just to double dip. So I reported two dental office , but I have the feeling nothing is going to change they will continue to rip people off by saying this your insurence doesn't cover this procedure or this is your balance.Found a good dentist that finish that procedure for my 100% coverage 😀. Next going to hopefully find a surgeon for my lovely tummy hernia I got from lifting my uncle in my old age! Have it for three years needs attention oh god!,wish me luck.whats your plan ?

Well you are in for an interesting time on the medical insurance front considering Trump is wasting no time replacing Obamacare.

Over here we seem to be going for hard Brexit, which could mean a hard time for all (which translates to a hard time for working people and not for the politicians who decide our future).

As for myself, well I am working my way to retirement back to Australia in the next year or two, and going to do up a rundown beach house we own next to my oldest sons property who's married out there. Going to do the house up and add an extension and a conservatory over the next two years, and then eventually move in on retirement as a beach bum 

You lucky stiff bandicoot, I am daydreaming that we will move out of New Jersey but to where ?? In my dreams the UK but don't know yet☹️.Please I rather not go into politics.

To be fitter! I'm not unfit, but I quite like the idea of being able to manage a 15km run.

Atm I can handle 3.5km... not sure how long it will take to get to 15, so I'll aim for 5km first and see how I go.

Rob, that's the right attitude. when I was training for Tough Mudder, I started off doing 2 miles, some of which was walking, after a couple of months I think I was comfortably jogging for 7 miles. I haven't done any since, so I'd have to start again now from the beginning :(

I don't get to have plans for me, made by me, the others take care of that ;) It would be nice to make some plans, but they won't happen, I already have a list of things I'm supposed to do which just gets bigger :(

Remarkably similar here. About a year ago I was quite happily doing a couple of 5ks a week but a problem with my foot stopped all that.
Having mostly resolved that I'm back up to about 2.5k on the tread mill. I'll not bother going back out on the streets till it's up over 3.5k, so maybe a couple of weeks.

That and a promise to myself to finish a book that's stalled on about 7,000 words (writing not reading).

Well after seeing a very cheap flat in Largs i decided it was about time to see if i can get a mortgage and hopefully pay it off quick smart, still working on the mortgage part but amazingly it is looking hopeful currently, if i get it i will probably do another season in the channel islands just to get 9 months of guaranteed income to plough into it and would leave mates with keys to keep eye on it and be around when/if i buy bits and bobs to be delivered there.......being me i still assume something will go pear shaped (pessimist or realist?) so wish me luck :)

Well done. Largs in Scotland is a nice coastal town. My claim to fame there, was a holiday visit while visiting relatives and we saw The lord of the rings first film in the Viking centre.

Never forgot the atmosphere of seeing that film there, for the first time. Must have seen it five times in the cinema when we got home.
