My country, right or wrong.

Given all the changes to our country and soon the other side of the pond I thought we could maybe do with a fresh start on here as well. We can't stick a few months back on the calendar.
Me? I'm not a Bre anything as I f***ing hate that prefix shoved on every damn headline. Yes I voted remain and I'm not hiding under a rock as neither would all those who voted leave if it had been that close the other way.

An interesting start to the new political order is the result of the by election in Cameron's old constituency.
Tories won it but with a huge drop in the majority and the Lib Dems went from 7% share to 30% .
Now if Farron could get his thumb out of his well meaning a**e that might be something they could build on.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

Here is the problem, when I read that all i thought was... I wonder who he is? Is he their leader now?

And we STILL don't know who he is!

He needs to get his face and name recognised.

Still alive and kicking. You can't get rid of me that easily!

Well you could have guessed and it would have been an 8/1 shot.

Yes it is him and yes I had to Google him, not this time but just post 23/6.
Seems a perfectly amiable bloke but has the media profile of a Trappist Monk.
The embodiment of the guy who walks through a crowded room and nobody notices him.
The Lib Dems really need to think if they can do better or at least find someone to be their public face. Who that might be though I have no idea.

I dunno you pay someone to carry out a contract and the contractee is still walking about. Just can't get the staff these days.

Nice to see your occasional surfacings.
Lightens the mood a little.

Not convinced of that myself, if you look at all the local elections results from yesterday:

http://www.conservativehome.com/localgovernment/2016/10/council-by-election-results-from-yesterday-101.html

2015 Witney results here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/constituencies/E14001046#constituency_result_headline

2010 Witney results here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/election2010/results/constituency/f22.stm

So if you think about it, Witney has been rebooted back to 2010 overall with the Lib Dems rebounding from their essential wipeout in 2015.

Suspect this is more about Cameron resigning than May or the Lib Dems to be honest...

I've just caught up with his award winning performance on iplayer.
Toe curlingly awful.

He is to comedy as D J Trump is to feminism.

He groped Paul Merton, bragged about it to his mates then denied it ever happened and would sue Paul Merton for saying it did?
