I saw someone say on twitter that they could give these to the homeless and third world, rather than burn them, but that would be "caring".

RIP #Nike. Due to the upcoming conservative protests, you'll end up in the dustbin of history just like:

-Dick's Sporting Goods
-Kellogg's
-Netflix
-Keurig
-Amazon
-Star Wars Films
-Merryl Streep
-Michelle Wolf
-The Black Panther Franchise
-Hamilton

I don't agree with this, but it's no different to the boycotting of companies by the left due to advertising in papers or TV channels that they don't like.

But the thing is, boycotting by 'the left' tends to have better success because they tend to have a moral point, whereas boycotting by 'the right' doesn't tend to get anywhere as their motives are generally based on hatred, bigotry and pig-headedness, and not as may people are willing to admit they think along those lines.

That depends on where you sit on the political spectrum though, doesn't it?

You could easily argue, if you wanted to, that the motives of the left are based on hatred, bigotry and pig-headedness.

Well if you take what I said literally instead of seeing it simply as an argument, then I can I see why you've reacted as you did.

Slightly more nuanced than the Jonathan Pie video on the same subject:
