I never watched Big Night Out First time round, but enjoyed Smell of Reeves and Mortimer, and Shooting Stars from Day one.

My missus informs me she saw Vic and Bob's Big Night many years ago, anyway, we both really enjoyed this new one, she assures me it was the same as it ever was, which in this case is a good thing :) Out of interest, we've noticed that nowadays when we see them separately on things like "Would I Lie to You", it appears that Bob is the "brains"/funnier of the two. Bob is especially good on that show, i you really can't be sure if he is telling a lie, or the truth, and sometimes his truths are so absurd you realise where the humour comes from! SPOILER:
he revealed he does home dentistry using a gaming chair, and an Indian musical instrument!?!?!?

Watched the Drama of the life story of Tommy Cooper on TV last night, excellently played, even looked like him.

Never knew his story of being locked in a love affair with his wife and his 'offstage female assistant'  for many years, and kept hidden till it was exposed in the papers. Funny in places and sad in others, especially his demise 'TV live' on stage, where everyone thought it was a joke, but at least left this world giving everyone a laugh, and thats what he wanted most.

Some details....

The Boris clips on HIGNFY were genuinely frightening in the context of where we are now....

Switched on the tv after we woke up and was confronted with the Kylie Christmas special, does she never grow old? :D

If you liked the Spartan film 'the 300', then here is the documentary...
Worth watching tonight, is the Spartan 'last stand of the 300' (9PM Blaze TV)
SUMMARYRecreating the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC and investigating how 300 Spartan warriors and 700 Thespian volunteers faced certain death in a bloody fight with thousands of Persian troops.
