Police on streets after rioting
Emergency services remain on the streets of Tottenham, north London, after overnight rioting saw police attacked and buildings and vehicles set alight.

Caught this on Sky News late last night, what the hell caused this?

Was all about that guy that got shot by the police in the week... started off as a peaceful demonstration apparently, and escalated.

Thug/gangsterfires gun at police.Police shoot back & kill the thug/gangster.
Can you imagine what would happen to you if you shot a policeman in Spain, France, China, Chile,Russia etc, etc. Yes they would shoot back to kill.
Then this `close nit` community decide a `peaceful` march would be appropriate. A peaceful march over a thug/gangster shooting at police & getting shot & killed in response. Give me a break.

Why don`t the police have the right to shoot either with rubber bullets or live ammunition anyone in a riot with their head covered or partly covered.

... and then his friends and family come out and say what a nice chap he was, he wouldn`t harm anyone...

Just ever so slightly blinkered. I appreciate that mistakes get made, and sometimes genuinely nice people do find themselves in a situation they`ve got nothing to do with, but 99.99% of the time, the police have an absolutely genuine & grounded reason for taking the actions they take.

Nice guy? Not likely. They found a bullet lodged in the police radio...

What a bunch of sick people? Most of them should be in mental homes. No wonder the streets aren`t safe nowadays.
