RE: Easy one - best mince pies?
Well, one time, at band camp....
It seems the votes are in..here at least. I am enjoying a Sainsbury`s `Taste the Difference` pie at this very moment. :-)
My Collection
Just had a Tesco Deep Filled mince pie. It was OK. Missus didn`t want the finest as they have brandy in :(
£1.00 a box of 6, I think Finest cost double that! Mr Kipling I think were 2 boxes of 12 for £2

I took a couple of packets of Greggs` mince pies into work last night, £1.30 for 6, made in store. Best shop ones I`ve had this year.

Our Cristmas lunch at work is a "bring your own" American supper style affair in the bosses office, the person who has put their name down for mince pies has said they`ll be home made, and apparently the lady doing suasage rolls is doing home made as well :)

I`m with your missus.
When it comes to christmas food, I can`t stand booze being put into everything.
Chocolate/trifles/pudding, whatever.
just had my first one of this season. A Sainsbury`s deep fill mince pie. Was pretty good.
