Just wondering what you would choose if you had the choice and why?

UK as it once was a great and beautiful place with pleasant people. I am hoping that one day it might get back to being the same. Do I wait in vain?
The USA, never!
That said, Greece beckons.

I`ve always found the US an amazing country, spoilt by the people who run and live in it. Which isn`t to say there are some very nice people over there, as I found all the Americans I met to be pleasant people.

Yeah sure we moan about speed cameras here, but we are rarely booked for speeding by a cop that caught us two miles away driving towards us. And we don`t have sign posts on country roads informing us that reduce the speed limit for this corner to 30mph just in case we weren`t smart enough to realise it was a hairpin.

And there aren`t gun shops all over the place where pretty much anybody can buy a firearm and ammunition.

And when you tell people from Scotland or Wales you are over from England, they don`t automatically assume you mean New England, and if you live in a rural area you are rarely poisoned by fumes from a local factory which escapes prosecution because it is owned by a big corporation.

And we would never elect an idiot as our leader. :)

Oh and I forgot, no baked beans or tea bags either!

Can`t answer this one - never lived in the US. I can`t see any point in speculating either. Easy answer is to say prefer to live in UK as thats what I`ve done all my life(bar holiday to Florida) but if opposite was case then I`m pretty sure I`d say prefer to live in USA.
My psyche would be contrived in a different way to what it is now if I`d lived in the US.

I`d rather live up a tree with nothing but tinned foods and a shotgun than live in the US...
excellent place to visit though..

I deal with Americans pretty frequently.. they don`t realise what a state their country is in until they come over here.

Answer to the question? Easy. UK.

Wanting the best of both worlds, opting for Canada personally.
