Happened on a movie of that title on Netflix last night.
Made in 2011 and I've honestly never even heard of it.

Very Smiley like and Bill Nighy does a lot of nothing but he's so bloody good at it.
If you enjoy a movie with zero bash, crash and wallop but intelligent plot, dialogue and acting I recommend it.

sounds like its part of the wallinger trilogy? I picked up the box set years ago purely because of Nighy, ill look it out and check, if so pick up the other two, cracking spy trilogy

Page Eight, Turks & Caicos and Salting The Battlefield.

Lived up to the standard.
Good cast all turning it on.
Enjoyable watching Bill Nighy just letting Walken be Walken, with just the occasional fleeting change of expression on his part.

That is far too good a trilogy for me to have never heard of it and only stumbled over the first episode.
No fanfares, no awards, no critiques I can remember.
Very odd.

One Emmy for the title music and a bunch of nominations.
TBF the title music was period perfect.

I'm left the same as after watching Smiley, wanting more.
