Enjoyed this. The Daniel Kaluuya's performance did seem quite phoned in, surely a part of the character - and a huge contrast to his sister, who I thought was superb.
The barn scene was reeeeally creepy. The cinematography and colours were all stunning.
Anyway, after I saw it I read the whole film is really an allegory for Hollywood SPOILER:
(you could see how Hollywood had really let down the family in this film etc.) - but that certainly passed me by while watching it - unlike the recently brilliant Don't Look Up that I did spot the message it was (maybe too subtly) trying to tell/preach..

With regard to the show bit I speak about in the video - I've since heard someone try to explain what was going on (the shoe took his eyes away from the chimp so it gave him a false sense of security when it comes to dealing with wild animals), but that's a very wooly explantion, and stil deosn't explain the she itself
