Only vaguely aware of the Unchartered series through osmosis, but this looks standalone enough to be entertaining in its own right. Too much pandering to the source, especially when that source is a well-known game series, gives you the first Tomb raider movie.

Looking really quite good

Well, it's not going to win any awards, but it's certainly a lot of fun. There's nothing to say about the movies that you can't glean from the trailers, which really do give away nearly everything that happens in the movie, so there's nothing really that I can write for a review.

Not fantastic, very derivative. There's even a bit taken directly from Treasure Planet of all places, but the most crowd-pleasing aspect is that you don't have to have any knowledge of the game source material (as I don't) to understand what's going on and why.

There is one post-credits scene, which again is given away in the trailer (The bit with the moustache), so you don't have to stick around. No-one else in the cinema did.
