That's the most spacious B17 I've ever seen. It is huge inside.

Just because it's been done before doesn't mean it doesn't look like a good couple of hours to switch off the brain and go along for the ride.

Yep, sometimes you want to watch something like Schindler's List, other times, you're not sure what to watch, and something like Armageddon catches your eye :)

I remember watching Godzilla with a couple of mates, and they started to have a discussion about how the helicopters couldn't fly like that in a city, or something being "unrealistic"! I had to point out to them, that as someone who knows nothing about aviation physics I didn't know or care, but that was irrelevant, as we were watching Godzilla :)

Oh it's garbage. And that's a shame, as up to about the 45-minute mark it has the makings of a real story with regards to the enclosed setting and the singular POV, but after that the movie just flushes itself down the u-bend with stupid setpieces and pretentious psudo-feminist jingoism that comes across as forced & unrealistic. My mother was in the RAF and I feel insulted for her.

Overall, 8/10 for what the movie might have been. 2/10 for what it ended up being.

But FWIW, Chloe carries it well, and her Brit accent is actually impeccable. It's when she reverts to her native tongue her character actually loses credibility, that and the whole 'rock-climbing technique under a B-17 in flight' thing.
