Personally, I've never really associated the movie studio with the more poisonous aspects of the Fox brand, but it's understandable that a company that promotes a more wholesome persona like Disney would want to distance themselves as much as possible from the other arms of the name. Mickey Mouse doesn't really fit under the same umbrella as Sean Hannity...

I'm sure it'll still be on the beginning of all the iconic movies it's already on the beginning of. It was already gone from the new Star Wars films.

It makes sense to drop it, doesn't hold much brand recognition for people under 30 anyway.
