I've still not seen the original, I have it on DVD though, I should really watch it! Should I watch it? Or should I watch Mallrats first?

RE: Jay and Silent Bob Reboot
I'm a fan, but this looks a little desperate, and Smith constantly casting Harley in everything isn't doing her any favours.
I liked Clerks 2 a lot. In fact I'd go so as to say I think it's Smith's best recent work, in that I've watched it more than 5 times, but his usual list of cast names are looking far too old for these kind of shenanigans without it giving the movie a pervading sense of 'grasping for duckets'.
Still, Smith always tends to come through, so I'll look forward to it anyway

Writer`s Release
Only just got round to watching this, I was slightly worried after not having enjoyed Borat 2 or Bill and Ted 3 very much that my college/uni memories of loving Kevin Smith/Jay and Bob would be ruined but I really enjoyed this.
it's very very silly, but genuinely made me laugh out loud. Just wish I had watched all the old films again as there must have been a lot of references I didn't get. Actually, we don't have Mallrats, Dogma or Chasing Amy any more, the missus had them on video, and they got dumped a long time ago :( (got Clerks X, Clerks 2, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back on DVD)
There's rumours of another Mallrats and another Clerks film, so have time to pick up the missing films, and watch them all :)
