I feel partially responsible, I apologise, but a lot of ppl like me wanted to know why Bumblebee wasn't a beetle in the recent films as he was in the cartoon, comics, toys I had as a kid.
I guess now I get to find out? Looks like Shockwave, Soundwave et al. are looking like they should as well :)

I remember everyone being excited when the original TF movies were announced, but then we ended up with Michael Bay throwing lumps of metal in front of a constantly-moving camera while people shouted a lot. This looks closer to the original (and best) designs as they were intended. The name 'Bumblebee' never suited a muscle car to begin with.
But, Peter Cullen's in there again to lend his natural gravitas, so let's hoPe it doesn't devolve to an hour of grinding metal in the last hour

Oh, that's kind of what the trailer looked like to me. :(

Oh, it looks like there's plenty of action, but the difference is that while the screen is showing 2 giant robots righting each other, it's easy to tell them apart, and they still bear some resemblance to their Earthbound form.

Finally! A Transformers movie where they actually look like the Transformers I remember.
