Voldemort: Origins Of The Heir
RE: Harry Potter fan made film
This keeps popping up of FB, with several friends convinced it's official and canon, and due for a cinema release. You can almost hear their little hearts break when I tell them it's just a fan film

I found it to be far to 'Red' Russian for my liking, as I suppose it was made in Russia, or an East European country, Felt like a 'cold war' version of a Harry Potter film.
The Engish dub was just far too perfect English, as usually foreigner's Engish pronunciation is either very bad or as in this case uses 'Mary Poppins' perfect Engiish, just like American actors faking a voice that they think of as an Englishman or woman. It gets a bit cringworty, just like me putting on an English or Scottish accent and everyone bursts out laughing, DOH!
On the positive side....The actors were good at their parts, the wardrobes, scenery, effects and story seemed clever enough as well.
Without me having to go through the entire 52 minutes, is this something that would be suitable for my 14-year-old daughter, please? She's a Potter nut but obviously I don't want to give her the heads-up if halfway through, Harry starts having sex with Ginny...
Thanks.
It is dark with a lot of 'avra kadaver' violence, much like the last two Harry Potter films but a bit more violence. So you better check it out yourself first.
Well we are dealing with the dark lord are'nt we.

Cheers Bandi.
As much as I love the Potter films, having seen them all around 30 times each, I think I'll keep quiet!
